So they can put there honey in there duh
Because the hexagons connect together easily and stuff.
Because hexagons would pack better than circles
Maybe a honeycomb built of hexagons can hold more honey. Maybe hexagons require less building wax???
When bees make there honeycomb it's probably easier to fit all the shapes together and store there honey.
Cause they need to store stuff the shape their organized somehow :)
Because a hexagon can hold more honey than a square or triangle
I think that's just the way bees are maybe it's just their instincts to do so
If they would use circles there would be little gap in between the circles, so they use hexagons, with hexagons there is no gaps and it makes the honeycombs more compact.
Cause they can hold more honey
Because it makes it easier to sort the honey.
So it's easier to put together
Cause that's there favorite shape!!
I think bees use hexagons for honeycombs because it achieves maximum space and at the top hey use half hexagons and also at the bottom and sides. It also stores a lot of honey and doesn't take much room because the side of one hexagon is also the side of another
They use hexagons because if they used circles or octagons there would be spaces or holes in the hive.
So they can hold six times more
So they can store things better and so they won't fall out
So they don't waste space. And hexagons stack better then most shapes.
Maybe a hexagon holds more honey than other shapes.
It might hold the honey better and it could store more honey
Because they can fit the most honey in a hexagon and it is the most efficient use of bees wax so the bees don't waste any honey.
Because it holds more honey for the busy bees
Because it's easey to store honey in
Because the hexagonal shape distributes the weight more evenly which makes the honeycomb stronger.
